![]() ![]() ![]() The fish was topped with a Sicilian tapenade, we discerned capers, olives, and garlic at least, all minced very finely. It’s served in a tomato broth with a vibrant taste and a very fresh and pure tomato flavor. A good-sized portion of a nice, flaky filet of snapper. San Marzano Tomato Broth, Fingerling Potatoes, Broccolini, Sicilian Tapenade The haricot verts were cooked to just the right tenderness but didn’t have much seasoning. The cheddar grits were excellent, perfectly cooked so that you still had the texture of the grits without being overly grainy. The meat fell apart as good short rib should, but it also had large fat segments in the cut, which made the total amount of meat somewhat deceptive. The outside was blackened but did not taste burnt. It was tender but relatively dry, especially for a braised dish. Some of us really enjoyed it, while others felt it was underwhelming for short rib. Star Course (Entrées) Slow Rotation Short Ribīraised Short Rib, Cheddar Grits, Bacon, Haricot Vert Each element on its own was delicious, but the combination made this dish out of this world. The beets brought a good richness, and we could eat that hummus all day long. This was another favorite, with the perfect blend of sweet and citrus flavors. Quinoa, Beluga Lentils, Roasted Red and Golden Beets, Oranges, King Oyster Mushroom, Cashew Hummus If you’re looking for a classic, this is good, but the other two salads were phenomenal. The romaine was very fresh with a nice crunch. Miniature Romaine, Classic Caesar Dressing, Parmigiano Reggiano One diner in our group stated it was the best salad they ever had. The pears and dried cranberries went well together, and the spiced nuts add a good texture. The Space Greens is a very fruity, vibrant salad. Space Greensīibb Lettuce, Dried Cranberries, Roasted Pears, Spiced Pecans, Apple Cider Dressing The housemade hot sauce is a Buffalo sauce with a nice kick. It’s excellent, well cooked, and lightly breaded. Tempura Fried Cauliflower, Housemade Hot Sauce, Blue Cheese Dust This was our least favorite of the appetizers we tried. Otherwise, it just tastes like tuna and avocado. The sesame chips were decent and gave it a much-needed crunch. The tuna itself is high grade, but this dish was flavorless. Yellowfin Tuna, Yuzu Ginger Miso, Soy, Avocado, Raddish, Apple, Sesame Crackers The roasted pepper citrus aioli has a kick and is the better sauce of the two. We didn’t detect any spice in the marinara it seemed standard. It is served with a spicy marinara and roasted pepper citrus aioli. ![]() Starry Calamariįried Calamari, Italian Cherry Peppers, Spicy Marinara, Roasted Pepper Citrus Aioli Romesco was lemony but left a little to be desired. The artichoke hearts were good, but they were not crunchy and had no visible grill marks. The mozzarella was very good, salty with a touch of pepper and oil.
