It also provides a suggested Space and Ground build to use, as well as pictures for where to put skill points. The Basic Mechanics page will provide a lot of information either the game doesn't cover very well, or may be confusing. The walkthrough provides a page for each faction playthrough, but also other pages explaining how the game works. As long as you reach the designated point in the walkthrough page for the faction, you'll receive all the achievements in the most efficient way. You can start your Romulan character and get halfway through, then take a break and do the Starfleet playthrough until it's done, then go back. Everything is unlocked at the beginning, so you can choose which playthrough you want to start with. Each faction page will show how far you should play the partial playthroughs and at what point you should stop. This provides the quickest method of story arc completion. This guide will follow the most efficient path of progression, which requires a main playthrough of a Federation aligned Romulan, a partial playthrough of a TOS era Starfleet character, and a partial playthrough of a Klingon character. These partial playthroughs will cover story arcs that are only available to a specific faction. This game only requires one main playthrough on a single character, and two other partial playthroughs. Because many of these unlock at different levels, the walkthrough will indicate at which point you should include a daily/collectible achievement in your routine, and direct you to the page with the explanation on what to do. The walkthrough will give quite a few tips and tricks that will greatly reduce the time to collect these achievements, as well as explanations and checklists for what to do every day or while you're traveling between missions. Many of them have 20 hour restrictions on repeating actions, some can only start being collected at a certain level or point of the game, and datachip achievements will require several other methods used to speed up progress. These will be the achievements that take the most amount of time. Maps and video walkthroughs will be provided. These achievements will task you with going around the planets and completing various activities in certain areas. While you can visit these worlds after reaching certain levels, these achievements are best done after completing the story. There are several achievements related to exploring different worlds you will encounter, like Risa, Nimbus, Romulus, and various Battlezones. Mission objective areas will be highlighted by a green circle on your map, or a white circle if it's for a mission you haven't designated as 'primary' in your mission log. Each story arc on the faction pages contains as few spoilers as possible for those that are following along with the story, but will have the solutions to particularly challenging or annoying puzzles listed when applicable. Occasionally some episodes will have puzzles to solve that can be challenging. Story levels are rather straightforward, usually being 'Go here, shoot this, go here, rescue this'. You will also usually find yourself above the level range of what the game recommends for the story arcs, but those only require a minimum level to begin the arc. The only leveling requirement you will need to focus on will be related to Captain Specialization at the end of the game, as you will reach level 60 on your main character well before finishing all of the story arcs. ![]() You can skip all dialogue by always choosing the green conversation choice, which will cut down on time spent. Episodes can come in various lengths, taking anywhere from 20 minutes to 40 minutes, and longer if you are reading the dialogue conversations that pop up. ![]() There are 155 story episodes to complete across three characters. The large majority of achievements are related to completing Story Arcs, which themselves are broken down into various amounts of episodes. The achievements in this game can be broken down into three categories: Don't expect to grind through this game in a few days, as even if you complete the story missions and playthroughs you'll still need to complete daily missions and assignments. This walkthrough will show you the easiest and fastest path to getting the large majority of the achievements, and then provide several tips and tricks that will decrease the time certain daily collectible achievements will take.
